Abstract
|
|
|
A sacrococcygeal teratoma, meassuring 21.0 X 13.0 X 13.0 cm and weighing 925 gm was resected from a new-born infant.
Grossly the tumor is largely cystic and filled with serous fluid, and the solid mass was composed of many tissue components, i.e., skin, adipose tissue, nervous tissues with choroid plexus, intestinal mucosal epithelium containing goblet cells, and bron-chial mucosa etc.
